This year’s event on 5th October will see participants gather at the spiritual heart of Australia, Uluru, while many more take part in local walks across the country. All united by one purpose: raising vital funds for the life-changing work of Dorcas ACTS.
The walk holds special significance as Everald Compton’s Walk Around Uluru. As the Patron and visionary behind Walk in the Spirit, Everald has chosen to celebrate his 95th birthday through an act of generosity, inviting Australians to walk alongside him in support of Dorcas ACTS and the people it serves.
As a sponsor, your organisation will play an important role in helping deliver this unique event while supporting Australians experiencing crisis. Funds raised help Dorcas ACTS provide rapid financial assistance and practical support to people affected by natural disasters, domestic and family violence, homelessness, financial hardship, and other challenging circumstances.
A range of sponsorship opportunities is available, from major event partnerships through to practical sponsorships supporting event signage, participant shirts, digital communications, local walk resources, and more. Every partnership helps maximise the funds directed to those who need them most.
