Funds raised through Walk in the Spirit support Dorcas ACTS’ crisis relief and community assistance programs, including help for people affected by homelessness, financial crisis, domestic and family violence, natural disasters, elder abuse, disability, social isolation and other personal crises.
Practical Social Impact
Your sponsorship helps make the event possible while supporting the crisis relief and community assistance work of Dorcas ACTS. Funds raised through Walk in the Spirit support rapid financial assistance and practical help for people experiencing hardship, including homelessness, financial crisis, domestic and family violence, natural disasters, elder abuse, disability, social isolation and other personal crises.
Dorcas ACTS is a registered charity with DGR status, and appropriate receipting or sponsorship invoice arrangements can be discussed with your organisation.
The Event is to be organised by Dorcas ACTS and is intended to be an on-going event, possibly at different venues, occurring every year or two.
The Walk in the Spirit 2026 event is a nationwide charity initiative centred on a flagship 11 km walk around Uluru on Monday, 5 October 2026.
