Our Impact
Every donation, sponsorship, and act of support helps Dorcas ACTS provide practical assistance and hope to Australians facing difficult circumstances.
Since 2007, Dorcas ACTS has supported individuals, families, and communities affected by natural disasters, financial hardship, homelessness, domestic and family violence, elder abuse, and other personal crises. Working through trusted community partners, churches, and local organisations, we are able to respond quickly and compassionately when help is needed most.
Our support extends across a range of initiatives, including emergency financial assistance, disaster recovery, support for vulnerable Australians, educational scholarships for students from remote communities, and assistance for refugees and asylum seekers establishing new lives in Australia.

The Event is to be organised by Dorcas ACTS and is intended to be an on-going event, possibly at different venues, occurring every year or two.
The Walk in the Spirit 2026 event is a nationwide charity initiative centred on a flagship 11 km walk around Uluru on Monday, 5 October 2026.
